Cincinnati mayor becomes an ‘Undercover Boss’ on TV

CINCINNATI — Cincinnati’s mayor has revealed he’s been working alongside unknowing city workers for the CBS reality series “Undercover Boss.”

The Cincinnati Enquirer reports Mayor Mark Mallory told city employees during a taping Thursday that he toiled in disguise with Cincinnati trash crews, parking ticketers and maintenance workers.

City council aides told the newspaper there was video of Mallory wearing dreadlocks and of the mayor disguised while working in a maintenance truck lift bucket.

Mallory said after the taping he was happy to showcase the city and its hard-working employees.

CBS said he’s the first elected official to appear on the Sunday night show. The episode is scheduled to air in the spring.
