Snowy weather en route to Medina County tonight

More snowy weather is on tap this week for Medina County and Northeast Ohio.

A winter-storm watch is in effect this evening through early Wednesday in Medina County. Snow will start to fall overnight with 2 to 4 inches possible by Tuesday morning, according to a National Weather Service report.

A second blast of the storm is expected to bring 3 to 5 inches of snowfall throughout Tuesday until Wednesday morning. The storm system is expected to eventually change over to a mixture of sleet and freezing rain, the weather service report states.

A high temperature of 28 degrees is likely for Tuesday, while Wednesday’s high is expected to reach 33 degrees.

Hazardous driving conditions are possible over the course of this week’s storm in Medina County and Northeast Ohio, the National Weather Service said.
