John Wasylko, community relations specialist for Brunswick Schools, received the community service award from the Medina County Share Cluster on Friday.

The award goes to someone in the community who helps promote nonviolent, drug-free living for Medina County students. Waylon runs Brunswick’s video club.

Since 2000, the award-winning program has provided more than 200 students in grades six to 12 the opportunity to produce, direct, shoot and edit nearly 1,500 programs that have aired locally and nationally.
