BEREA — The Browns concluded their draft Saturday night by taking Nebraska safety Eric Hagg with the 248th pick.
Hagg (6-foot-1 1/2, 209 pounds) was an All-Big 12 pick after five interceptions and 49 tackles as a senior. He was named team MVP and won the character award.
He started the majority of games his final three years, and adds much needed depth to the Cleveland secondary.
The Browns had eight picks over three days, four on offense and four on defense.
