Medina County Court Log for June 21

Medina County Prosecutor Dean Holman reports the following people appeared in common pleas court Thursday:

• Darnell Gibson, 31, of Hunters Crossing in Elyria, was sentenced to one year of community control sanctions and fined $1,000 on one count of carrying concealed weapons, a fourth-degree felony.

• Jason Clark, 21, of Kimmich Drive in Brunswick, pleaded not guilty to one count of receiving stolen property (firearm), a fourth-degree felony. A jury trial is scheduled for Aug. 9.

• Daniel Dudgeon, 37, of Scarborough Drive in Brunswick, pleaded not guilty to one count of possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony. A jury trial is scheduled for Aug. 17.

• Jemil Henderson, 19, of North Harmony Street in Medina, pleaded not guilty to one count of trafficking in marijuana, a fifth-degree felony. A jury trial is scheduled for Aug. 16.

• Chester Johnson, 51, of South Lyman Street in Wadsworth, pleaded not guilty to two counts of felonious assault, second-degree felonies, and one count of breaking and entering, a fifth-degree felony. A jury trial is scheduled for Aug. 15.

• David Klein, 25, of Columbia Road in Medina, pleaded not guilty to one count of aggravated burglary, a first-degree felony, and one count of burglary, a fourth-degree felony. A jury trial is scheduled for Aug. 15.

• Jason Shirey, 40, of Turnbridge Court in Brunswick, pleaded not guilty to one count of passing bad checks, a fifth-degree felony. A jury trial is scheduled for Aug. 15.

The following people appeared in court Monday:

• April Alford, 35, of Oak Street in Medina, was sentenced to one year in prison for a probation violation on two original charges of possession of drugs, fifth-degree felonies.

• Robin Moore, 39, of Whitehall Drive in Berea, was sentenced to two years of community control sanctions, with 180 days in jail, on one count of theft of credit cards, a fifth-degree felony.

• Mary Moser, 37, of Main Street in Wadsworth, was sentenced to five years of community control sanctions, with 180 days in jail, on one count of burglary, a fourth-degree felony. Her driver’s license was suspended for six months.

• Julio Bermudez, 22, of Denver Avenue in Lorain, pleaded not guilty to one count of forgery, a fifth-degree felony. A jury trial is scheduled for Sept. 14.

• Tyler Carr, 27, of Highview Drive in Wadsworth, pleaded not guilty to two counts of trafficking in heroin, fifth-degree felonies. A jury trial is scheduled for Aug. 17.

• Edwin Good, 31, of Big Injun Trail in Chippewa Lake, pleaded no contest to one count of receiving stolen property (motor vehicle), a fourth-degree felony. Sentencing is scheduled for Aug. 1.

• Anthony Hall, 20, of Manchester Drive in Brunswick, pleaded not guilty to one count of receiving stolen property, a fifth-degree felony. A jury trial is scheduled for Sept. 21.

• Loretta Lowery-Chrise, 40, of Lafayette Road in Medina, pleaded guilty to one count of trafficking in marijuana, a fifth-degree felony. Sentencing is scheduled for Aug. 1.

• Matthew Morris, 20, of East Woodlawn Avenue in Muncie, Ind., pleaded not guilty to one count of rape, a first-degree felony. A jury trial is scheduled for Aug. 17. He remains in jail on $100,000 bond.
