BEREA – The Browns have agreed to terms with top pick Phil Taylor, the 21st overall selection in the NFL Draft.
The defensive tackle from Baylor reported to the team headquarters late Tuesday afternoon, meeting with Cleveland president Mike Holmgren shortly after arriving in Berea.
Taylor will officially sign a four-year contract this evening. He was the lone holdout on the roster and is the final member of the Browns’ rookie class to come to terms.
The 6-foot-3, 335-pounder is expected to take part in the club’s next practice, which is scheduled for Thursday morning.
