Wednesday, Sept. 7
10:30 a.m. – 300 block E. Bergey St., an officer responded to an apartment to investigate the theft of a portable generator from an unlocked garage. The resident was in the process of moving.
Thursday, Sept. 8
2 p.m. – 200 block College St., a parts warehouse manager reported bad checks totaling $13,999.77 from a Wadsworth business. The case is under investigation.
Saturday, Sept. 10
3:15 a.m. – 900 block High St., three 15-year-olds were taken into custody for curfew violations and later released to their parents.
Lodi police
Monday, Sept. 5
10:45 a.m. – 500 block Oakwood Drive, obscene pictures were drawn on the hood of a car with toothpaste, and a swimming pool had Styrofoam balls floating in it and on portions of the deck. Pizza and pencils were floating in the water.
Saturday, Sept. 10
7:20 a.m. – 200 block Market St., a phone charger and $4.08 in a money sock were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle.
1:36 p.m. – 200 block Elyria St., a car was vandalized, apparently with chocolate syrup. It was on the hood, doors, windshield and rear window. Profanity was written with chocolate on the trunk.
Sunday, Sept. 11
9:49 a.m. – 100 block Prospect St., a woman reported a laptop was stolen from her unlocked vehicle.

Friday, Sept. 9
8:54 a.m. — 9900 block Mennonite Road, Wadsworth Township, a purse containing credit and debit cards, cash and a driver’s license was stolen out of a car overnight.
7:14 p.m. — 2900 block Sharon Copley Road, Wadsworth Township, a gold bracelet valued at $300 was reported stolen from an apartment. While the deputy was speaking with the victim, another report came in about a theft at an apartment in the 2300 block of Sharon Copley. Both cases are under investigation.
Saturday, Sept. 10
3:57 a.m. — 7400 block Lake Road, Lafayette Township, Jared R. Ranftl, 18, of 204 Tanglewood Trail, Chippewa Lake, was charged with disorderly conduct and underage consumption after he reportedly was found lying on the sidewalk.
Sunday, Sept. 11
1:27 p.m. — 4900 block Dunsha Road, Granger Township, $1,300 worth of diesel fuel was reported stolen from two tractor-trailers.
Monday, Sept. 12
7:02 a.m. — 800 block Columbia Road, Liverpool Township, a resident reported numerous items, including tools, coins, gold wedding bands, Garmin GPS unit, car stereo amplifier with four speakers, CB radio, sunglasses, school supplies, clothing and a Kent State University parking pass, were stolen.
