Pythian Sisters of Spencer, Liberty Bell Temple 464, recently provided a $500 check to Juanita Packard of the Spencer Police Department Citizen Academy to assist the Spencer Community Cupboard. The pantry is open every Wednesday by appointment.

The Pythian Sisters of Spencer recently donated $500 to the Spencer Police Department Citizen Academy to benefit the Spencer Community Cupboard. Pictured are: Sgt. The success of the cupboard relies on the generosity of others who donate dry goods and money. Money donated to the cupboard is used to purchase food and goods at discounted rates. Contact Heather Davis at (330) 648-2907 for an appointment or donation.

The Spencer Police Department Citizen Academy meets the third Thursday of each month at the Police Department. On the first Saturday of each month the group has a food and donation drive at Spencer Tire to benefit the Spencer Community Cupboard.

Members of the Pythian Sisters meet at the Pythian Lodge in Spencer the first and third Tuesday of the month at 7:30 p.m. from March through December. Anyone interested in joining may call Helen Neel at (419) 908-8656.
