The following people appeared Monday in Common Pleas Court, according to county Prosecutor Dean Holman:

• Michael Bougher, 20, of Park Street in Wadsworth, was sentenced to three years in prison on one count of felonious assault, a second-degree felony.

• James Brentlinger, 55, of Overlook Drive in Wadsworth, was sentenced to two years of community control sanctions on one count of possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony. His driver’s license was suspended for six months.

• Dennis Byrne, 51, of Gaylann Drive in Brunswick, was sentenced to two years of community control sanctions on one count of trafficking in marijuana within the vicinity of a juvenile, a fourth-degree felony. His driver’s license was suspended for six months.

• Neal Lambert, 30, of Olmsted Falls, was sentenced to five years of community control sanctions, with 90 days in jail, on two counts of trafficking in marijuana within the vicinity of a juvenile, both of which are third-degree felonies.

• Albert Mooney, 45, of Spencer Road in Spencer, was sentenced to one year of community control sanctions on two counts of trafficking in marijuana, both of which are fifth-degree felonies.

• Michael Myers, 22, of Rittman, was sentenced to two years of community control sanctions, with 90 days of electronic monitoring, on one count of possession of cocaine and one count of possession of heroin, both of which are fifth-degree felonies.

• Kayson Ross, 21, of Akron, was sentenced to five years of community control sanctions on one count of burglary, a fourth-degree felony. He was ordered to pay $235 restitution.

• Joseph Yatsko, 18, of Babcock Road in Hinckley Township, was sentenced to two years of community control sanctions on one count of possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony.

• Edward Brown, 41, of Copley, pleaded not guilty to two counts of trafficking in cocaine, both of which are first-degree felonies; one count of trafficking in cocaine within the vicinity of a juvenile, a second-degree felony; and one count of trafficking in cocaine, a second-degree felony. A forfeiture specification is attached to the charges. A jury trial is scheduled for Feb. 8.

• Jessica Cahal, 21, of Shaw Road in Spencer, pleaded not guilty to two counts of trafficking in heroin, both of which are fourth-degree felonies. A jury trial is scheduled for Feb. 8.

• Lorrae Anne Church, 35, of Akron, pleaded not guilty to one count of tampering with evidence, a third-degree felony and one count of possession of heroin, a fifth-degree felony. A jury trial is scheduled for Feb. 1.

• Erin Conway, 29, of Humbolt Avenue in Wadsworth, pleaded not guilty to two counts of assault on a firefighter or EMT, both of which are fourth-degree felonies. A jury trial is scheduled for Feb. 22.

• Brandi Dillon, 28, of North Elmwood Street in Medina, pleaded not guilty to one count of theft of credit cards, a fifth-degree felony. A jury trial is scheduled for March 19.

• Charles Hudson, 24, of Wooster, pleaded not guilty to one count of trafficking in heroin within the vicinity of a juvenile, a third-degree felony; two counts of trafficking in heroin, both of which are fourth-degree felonies; and one count of trafficking in heroin, a fifth-degree felony. A jury trial is scheduled for Feb. 8.

• Robert Kashnier, 25, of Frantz Road in Medina, pleaded not guilty to one count of theft of a motor vehicle, a fourth-degree felony. A jury trial is scheduled for Feb. 13.

• John King, 51, of North Royalton, pleaded not guilty to one count of theft of a firearm and one count of having weapons while under disability, both of which are third-degree felonies. A jury trial is scheduled for Feb. 8.

• Eric Merriman, 19, of Highland Drive in Lodi, pleaded not guilty to one count of possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony. A jury trial is scheduled for Feb. 6.

• Jason Nicholson, 32, of Orville, pleaded not guilty to the following charges: one count of trafficking in heroin within the vicinity of a school or juvenile, a third-degree felony; one count of trafficking in heroin; one count of trafficking in marijuana; and one count of possession of drugs, all of which are fifth-degree felonies. A forfeiture specification is attached to the charges. A jury trial is scheduled for Feb. 15.

• Nathaniel Serrano, 42, of Norwalk Road in Litchfield Township, pleaded not guilty to failure to give notice of change of address, a third-degree felony. A jury trial is scheduled for Feb. 15.

• Brandon Smith, 26, of Medina Road in Medina, pleaded not guilty to one count of burglary, a second-degree felony. A jury trial is scheduled for March 19.

• James Thorpe, 44, of West Friendship Street in Medina, pleaded guilty and was sentenced to one year of community control sanctions on one count of misuse of credit cards, a fifth-degree felony.

• Michael Wilkinson, 21, of Lafayette Road in Medina, pleaded not guilty to one count of trafficking in marijuana, a fifth-degree felony. A jury trial is scheduled for March 21.
