Burglars take 80 weapons from an Ohio firing range
COLUMBUS — Police say burglars punched a hole in a concrete-block wall and stole about 80 weapons from a central Ohio firing range and gun-sales shop.
Jeff Robinson, a spokesman for the city of Powell in suburban Columbus, said it’s important to make an arrest and get the guns off the street.
The Columbus Dispatch reported today that an employee discovered the break-in when arriving at work Wednesday morning.
The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are helping Powell authorities with the investigation.
