Friday, March 23
10:04 a.m. — 222 E. Smokerise Drive, an officer responded to Walmart about a shoplifting complaint. Benjamin A. Gray, 24, Barberton, was arrested on a charge of theft for allegedly stealing merchandise from the store and then trying to return it for a refund.
1:32 p.m. — 222 E. Smokerise Drive, a female juvenile was apprehended while attempting to take merchandise from Walmart. Charges are pending via the Medina County Juvenile Prosecutor’s Office.
Sunday, March 25
5:56 a.m. — 100 block First St., an officer responded to a home regarding a rock that was thrown through a front window.
Monday, March 26
3:02 a.m. — 5 Park Center Blvd., an officer responded to Roadway Inn about a female who had collapsed. Illegal drugs allegedly were found at the scene, and Jesse Stayrook, 28, was charged with drug possession (bath salts). Stayrook reportedly had been living at the Roadway Inn.
Tuesday, March 27
1:09 p.m. — 200 block Franks Ave., a city resident reported someone made an unauthorized credit card purchase in Florida for $6.95.
Wednesday, March 28
10:09 p.m. — 993 High St., Gerard Neary, 45, 993 Baird Ave., was cited for disorderly conduct for his alleged role in a fight at Spunkmeyer’s Pub.
10:59 p.m. — 700 block Tamarac Trail, an officer responded to a residence about a busted-out car window.

Lodi police

Friday, March 23
2:31 p.m. — 225 Elyria St., an officer responded to Lodi Community Hospital about a man reportedly causing a disturbance. The man was denied permission to see his girlfriend, who was being treated in the emergency room. After hospital staff asked him to leave, the man tried to sneak into the emergency room. Police told him to leave the hospital.
