Medina County Court Log for July 12
The following people appeared in common pleas court Thursday, according to Medina County Prosecutor Dean Holman:
– Dontez Torres, 24, of West Boulevard in Cleveland, was sentenced to nine months in prison on two counts of trafficking in heroin, fifth-degree felonies. His driver’s license was suspended for six months.
– Alberto Andino, 22, of 16th Street SW in Akron, pleaded not guilty to one count of failure to comply with a police officer, a third-degree felony. A jury trial is scheduled for Sept. 18.
– Ryan Crews, 18, of Oberlin, pleaded not guilty to one count of breaking and entering, a fifth-degree felony. A jury trial is scheduled for Sept. 10.
– Stewart Davis, 50, of West Chase Drive in Brunswick Hills, pleaded not guilty to one count of felonious assault, a second-degree felony. A jury trial is scheduled for Sept. 19.
– Diana Hannas-Hill, 31, of Norwalk Road in Medina, pleaded not guilty to one count of possession of heroin, a fifth-degree felony. A jury trial is scheduled for Sept. 10.
– Julie Haskell, 36, of Sharon Copley Road in Wadsworth, pleaded not guilty to one count of passing bad checks, a fifth-degree felony. A jury trial is scheduled for July 18.
– Seth Starman, 20, of Vandemark Road in Litchfield, pleaded not guilty to one count of tampering with evidence, a third-degree felony, and one count each of breaking and entering and theft, fifth-degree felonies. A jury trial is scheduled for Sept. 17.
– Tearle Wade, 24, of West Friendship Street in Medina, pleaded not guilty to one count of trafficking in cocaine, a fifth-degree felony. A jury trial is scheduled for Sept. 11.
