MEDINA — Motocross racing hit the Medina County Fair Tuesday night.

The Medina event is one of the most popular on the circuit, not only for fans but the racers themselves. Over 280 riders churned dirt in 33 classes in front of a large crowd enjoying the action from the fairgrounds grandstands.

The 250cc classes were packed with fierce competition as Garret Smith and Kyle Ternes won the B and C divisions respectively on Kawasakis, while Cole Zollars rode his Honda to the checkered flag in the C Group 2 race.

In the 450cc divisions Ternes won the C race, while Scott Zollars was first in the B.

Danny LaHood won the two-stroke bike class on his Yamaha.

Dan Hoisington was a three-event winner in the Four-stroke Quad, Money Quad and Open Quad Group 2 races.

Winning two events each were Logan Karnow (Pit Bike 12-inch Stock/Mod and Pit Bike Open) and Vince Karnow (Plus 25 and Plus 30).
