James R. “Jim” Haumesser, 79, a lifelong resident of Medina, passed away Monday, October 8, 2012. He was born November 13, 1932, to the late Raymond J. and Marion A. (nee Deimling) Haumesser.

Jim leaves behind his wife Joan; and his children, Dennis (Pat), Darla (Greg) Sanders, Darrell, Douglas (Lisa) and Diane (Chuck) Teodecki; 10 grandchildren – that he loved to hunt and fish with; and nine great-grandchildren. Jim will also be missed by his sisters, Doris (deceased) (Leonard) Filous, Jane (Jerry deceased) Thonen, Edith (Steve) Sickles, and Ellen (Terry) Fortney; and his brothers, Glenn (Sheila) and Robert (Mary Ann) Haumesser.

Family will receive friends Wednesday, October 10, 2012, from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8 P.M., at the Catavolos Funeral Home, 3653 W. Market St., Fairlawn, where funeral service will be held Thursday, October 11, 2012, at 11 A.M. Burial will be at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Cemetery in Medina.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Jim’s name, to Hospice of Medina County, 5075 Windfall Rd., Medina, OH 44256.
