Weekend trick-or-treat schedule in Medina County

In the aftermath of this week’s storm, most communities in Medina County have moved trick-or-treat hours from Halloween to the weekend.

Saturday

• Medina city, 6-8 p.m.
• Wadsworth city, 6-8 p.m.
• Lafayette Township, 6-8 p.m.
• Litchfield Township, 6-8 p.m.
• Liverpool Township, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
• Medina Township, 6-8 p.m.
• Montville Township, 6-8 p.m.
• Westfield Township, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
• Wadsworth Township, 6-8 p.m.
• Chippewa Lake Village, 6-7:30 p.m.
• Gloria Glens Village, 6-7:30 p.m.
• Lodi Village, 6-8 p.m.
• Seville Village, 6-8 p.m.
• Westfield Center Village, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
• Valley City has moved its annual Halloween parade and celebration to Saturday at 6 p.m. Costume judging for children up to sixth grade is 6 p.m. at the railroad Depot. The parade starts at 6:30 p.m. and will proceed to the fire station, where three prizes for each grade will be awarded. Refreshments will be served for all who join in. Trick-or-treat is 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Sunday

• Brunswick city, 6-8 p.m.
• Brunswick Hills Township, 6-8 p.m.
• Sharon Township, 6-8 p.m.
So little ghouls and goblins don’t arrive early to collect their treats, residents should turn clocks back an hour before retiring Saturday night. Standard time returns Sunday at 2 a.m.
