Linda Lou Cole

Linda Lou (Ramsey) Cole, 70, formerly of Lodi, peacefully departed this life at Samaritan Care Center in Medina, Monday, November 5, 2012, after declining health for several years. Linda was born June 9, 1942 in Charleston, West Virginia, the fourth of five children to the Reverend Elihue and Arlene (Brown) Ramsey.

They relocated to the Lodi area where she attended Lodi High School. From the time of her marriage to Robert C. Cole April 17, 1960, Linda lived in Lodi. She loved her family, home and flowers, and was formerly employed in the Dietary Deptartment of Lodi Community Hospital. She was a former member of Homerville Grace Brethren Church.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Sibyl (Alex) Olszewski, John (Stacey) Cole, Betsy (Paul) Manos; grandchildren, Sarah Cole, Noelle, Robert, Bryan Olszewski, and Genevieve Manos; sisters, Pearl Thorn of Alabama, Doris Russell of Columbus; brother, Carey “Bud” (Elizabeth) Ramsey of Columbus, Leonard (Glenda) Ramsey of Wooster; several nieces, and nephews.

She joins her parents; infant son; and her in-laws, John and Gladys Cole.

The family sincerely thanks Samaritan Care Center, who lovingly cared for Linda during the last several years.

Funeral service will be Thursday, November 8, 2012 at 11 A.M., at the Parker & Son Funeral Home, 210 Medina St., Lodi, OH. Pastor Brad Jones will officiate. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Homerville. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 7, 2012 from 4 until 8 P.M., at the funeral home.
