Wadsworth senior libero Rachel Goddard was a second-team selection, while Wadsworth junior outside hitter Peyton Booth and Highland senior setter Alex Schuhle were both honorable mention choices.
The three-time reigning Suburban League champion Grizzlies advanced to the Hudson Regional semifinals, while Bulic led the Blue Devils to their first Sweet 16 appearance in 29 years at the Brecksville Regional semifinals.
Mey, a senior, finished third in balloting for the D-III District Player of the Year behind Elyria Catholic’s Catherine O’Shaughnessy and Waterloo’s Megan Forney. Junior Cartwright ranked eighth.
