Thursday, Nov. 8
3:11 a.m. — Akron Road and Interstate 76, an officer pulled over a driver for a routine traffic violation. Aaron Hood, 24, of Barberton, was cited for failure to appear on a previous court date and possession of marijuana.
Friday, Nov. 9
12:54 p.m. — 110 Akron Road, an employee at Convenient Food Mart reported a cooler and scrap metal were taken from the property.
Saturday, Nov. 10
12:30 p.m. — 500 block Oakcrest Drive, a resident reported identity theft to an officer.
3:49 p.m. — 200 block East St., a report was taken by an officer regarding furniture stolen from a residential garage.
Sunday, Nov. 11
12:44 a.m. — 175 Great Oaks Trail, during a patrol of Great Oaks Plaza, an officer cited William L. Smith, 59, of 249 Park Place Drive, for having an open container inside a vehicle.
Tuesday, Nov. 13
5:56 a.m. — 400 block Kellyann Court, a resident reported a theft of jewelry from her home.
1:53 p.m. — 120 Main St., a Rittman woman approached an officer at the police station about a city business having property believed to be stolen from her home. The matter is under investigation.

Wednesday, Nov. 7
3:28 p.m. — 116 Ainsworth St., an officer responded to CVS Pharmacy on a theft report. Samuel Wood, 26, of 624 Highland Drive, was arrested on the charge of theft after being accused of stealing a set of earphones and aluminum flashlights.
Thursday, Nov. 8
9:08 a.m. — Elyria St., an officer noticed a man walking on the street who was wanted on outstanding felony warrants. Stephen Hicks, 47, of 107 Elyria St., was arrested on the charges of trafficking marijuana (two counts) and trafficking drugs. He was transported to the Medina County Jail.
11:58 p.m. — 200 block Elyria St., police arrested James Bayless, 21, of 107 Elyria St., on the charge of trafficking drugs via a felony warrant from the Medina County Drug Task Force. He was transported to the Medina County Jail.
Friday, Nov. 9
9:25 p.m. — 116 Ainsworth St., an officer responded to CVS Pharmacy on a report of a theft in progress. Police said Ryan Novick, 27, of 128 River St., was charged with theft after producing a roll of tape from his pants pocket.
Sunday, Nov. 11
12:30 a.m. — 600 block Highland Drive, an officer responded to a report of a man in the street wearing only a towel. The man was found by police and transported to Lodi Community Hospital for observation. No charges were filed.

Wednesday, Nov. 7
6:39 p.m. — 10400 block Thicket Trail, Wadsworth Township, a deputy was dispatched to a home under construction where numerous power tools were reported stolen.
Thursday, Nov. 8
7:03 p.m. — 500 block Ridgewood Road, Sharon Township, a 13-year-old boy was arrested on the charge of domestic violence. He was transported to the Medina County Detention Center.
