Kurt Anthony Morse
Kurt Anthony Morse, 53, of Seville, passed away at his home Sunday, November 18, 2012. He was born in Medina on January 3, 1959. Kurt was a 1977 graduate of Medina High School.
He spent much of his working life at Medina Auto Parts, a family business created by his grandfather, Edwin Morse.
In 2001, he opened his own store, Kurt’s Auto Parts in Seville. Kurt was active in community events, and was a sponsor of the annual Seville Bates Fest, and was voted Businessman of the Year by the Trading Post in 2009. Kurt’s greatest passion was music. He played guitar and keyboards in a variety of original and classic rock bands, most recently with “The Filthy Animals”. The highlight of his year was playing at Rally in the Alley on Medina Square and his legendary “Kurtstock” parties at this residence in Seville. He will be greatly missed by his musical family.
He was the loving father of Monica, and Sara Morse; beloved son of Ronald and Marquerite (Frost) Morse; dear brother of Lyle (Hazel) Morse of Medina and Pete (Carole) Morse of Glendale, Airzona.
Family will receive friends from 6 until 8 P.M., Sunday, November 25, 2012, at the Waite & Son Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina.
