Beatrice Louise Huntley

Beatrice Louise Huntley, 106, of Seville, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2012. She was born July 24, 1906, in Granger Township, to the late Clair and Nellie (Baysinger) Huntley.

Bea’s passion was music, and she loved the piano. She was a professional pianist and magician’s assistant in the Vaudeville era for 43 years, traveling from coast to coast many times. Beatrice was an avid gardener and drove until the age of 96. She loved to crochet and leaves behind many beautiful afghans and worked many years caring for shut-ins. Bea was a true asset to the history of Medina County and her knowledge and memories will be truly missed.

She was the beloved friend of many, and survived by several cousins; and dear friends, the John Rak family.

A special thanks to Melissa and Jessica, at Silver Wings Assisted Living for their incredibly compassionate care.

Service will be held Thursday, November 29, 2012, 1 P.M., at the Waite & Son Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina. Pastor Molly Brown will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to service Thursday, November 29, 2012, at the funeral home. Private burial will be held at Coddingville Cemetery.
