Angelo S. Caito, age 83, of Medina, passed away Sunday, December 2, 2012, at his home in Richfield. He was born August 5, 1929 in California, Pennsylvania, to the late Salvatore and Onofria (Finazzo) Caito.
Angelo was a former manager at the White-Westinghouse Corp. He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and the American Legion Post #202, where he loved serving with the Honor Unit. Angelo served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He will always be remembered as a wonderful, loving father and grandfather. He was the beloved father of Michael A. Caito of Cleveland and Michele M. (Jeff) Boryk Reichle of Richfield; loving grandfather of Samantha and Alex Boryk. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Benedetto, to whom he was married 51 years; brothers, Mariano, Steve and Frank Caito; and sister, Marie Statten.
Family will receive friends at the Waite & Son Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina, Wednesday, December 5, 2012, from 2 until 4 and 6:30 until 9 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, December 6, 10 A.M., at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 606 E. Washington St., Medina. Father Anthony Sejba will be the Celebrant. Burial will be at St. Francis Cemetery.
