Only two days left to donate toys for Not-Forgotten Box

The newspaper is accepting new, unwrapped toys 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. today and Friday for children, infancy through 17 years old, and nonperishable food items.

All toys will be distributed to children through the Salvation Army of Medina, 425 W. Liberty St.

Suggested items for the Not-Forgotten Box are board games, sports items, basketballs, skateboards, Legos, makeup and cologne sets, curling irons, action figures, baby dolls, Barbie and Bratz dolls.

Suggested food donations include peanut butter, pasta, pasta sauce, crackers, macaroni and cheese, canned vegetables and fruits, cereal and one-pound bags of rice. Food donations will be handed out by the Salvation Army.
