WESTFIELD CENTER — The Northern Ohio PGA announced Wednesday the annual Minute Men Ohio Open Championships will be moved to Westfield Group Country Club this summer.
Last year’s event was held at Weymouth and Fox Meadow Country Clubs in Medina.
Instead of the championships being held in mid-July — a time it’s been held for nearly two decades — the tournament will switched to July 1-3.
“Fox Meadow and Weymouth Country Clubs have been excellent hosts and partners for the past two years, and we can’t thank them enough for all they’ve done,” Northern Ohio PGA Executive Director Dominic Antenucci said in a press release. “Westfield Group Country Club is a great fit for the Minute Men Ohio Open because it offers a true test of golf, and it’s consistently excellent playing conditions meet the PGA of America’s high tournament standards.”
