BRUNSWICK — A large water-main break from Wednesday evening has caused the closing of Center Road between Substation and Pearl roads today, according to a city dispatcher.

Crews have been working since last evening to repair the break, which was reported at 6:48 p.m. Wednesday, the dispatcher said.

John Goersmeyer, spokesman for the Cleveland Division of Water, said no boil alert has been issued for the approximately 15 to 20 homes affected from the break.

Repairs are scheduled to be completed sometime this evening, Goersmeyer said.
