At 8:21 a.m. today, the Medina County SWAT team arrested David A. Stoddard, 24, of 241 14th St., Barberton on warrants of aggravated murder, attempted aggravated murder and felonious assault.

Earlier, at about 5 a.m., the Akron Police Department asked Wadsworth Police to search for a vehicle suspected to be involved in a double shooting that happened earlier today in Akron.

A Wadsworth officer located the vehicle parked at the Legacy Inn, 810 High St. Police verified that Stoddard had checked in earlier in today.

Akron Police took custody of Stoddard.

The Legacy Inn is the same hotel where accused killer Nathan Summerfield was arrested in August following a nationwide manhunt.
