Shirley (Froggatt) DeOrio, 77, of Medina, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2013. She was born January 29, 1935 in Wheeling, West Virginia, to the late Michael and Ruth (Carter) Horlak.
Shirley was a manager for Ohio Bell Telephone for 32 years, and retired after 10 years from Medina General Hospital, where she was a PBX operator. She loved to travel, especially taking cruises, and motorhome camping.
She was the beloved wife of Anthony; loving mother of William Schroll, Bobbie Dillon, Becky Bar-oz and Gina Froggatt-Barsic (Gary Moore); dear grandmother of Eric Schroll, Lisa (Neville) Naidoo, Sean Dillon, Brooke (Dave) McGroder, J.R. Bar-oz, Ben Bar-oz, Honnah (Tom) Kraker, Emily Bar-oz, Jay Holliday, Angel Parrock, Stephanie Barsic and Maranda Barsic; great-grandmother of Aiden Bar-oz and soon to be Austin Kraker; loving sister of Sandra (Ken) Dillinger and Sharon Knappe; she is also survived by the love of her life, Biscuit, her cat.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Froggatt.
Services will be held Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 11 A.M., at the Waite & Son Funeral Home, Medina Chapel, 765 N. Court St. Burial will be in Spring Grove Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service on Saturday at the funeral home.
