Barbara ‘Lynn’ Bellmore Bednar

Barbara “Lynn” Bellmore Bednar, 59, of Raleigh, North Carolina, passed away Sunday, January 13, 2013 in her home. She was born November 4, 1953 in Medina, to William and Barbara (Gangle) Riddell.

Lynn loved to dance; she was a talented artist with an eye for fashion and interior design. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Her grandchildren quickly became her greatest pleasure over her last few years.

Lynn is the beloved mother of Shelly Bellmore (Troy) Coleman and Kelly Bellmore; grandmother of Wyatt Coleman and Enoch Coleman; wife of Robert Bednar; daughter of Barbara Riddell; sister of Norma (Paul) Shymske, Kathy (Mark) Stolar, William (Christine) Riddell, and Johnny Riddell; as well as an aunt and great aunt to numerous nephews and nieces.

Lynn was preceded in death by her father, William Riddell.

Lynn has always been passionate and vibrant, a talented artist and a collector of antiques. She lived her life helping others, her love and compassion had no boundaries. Her humor and infectious laughter will always be remembered by those who love her. She will be missed by every person that had the opportunity to be touched by her kindness.

A memorial will be held at The Matthews House, 317 West Chatham Street, Cary, North Carolina on Thursday, January 17, 2013 from 2 until 4 P.M.
