Medina County Court Log for Jan. 15

The following people appeared in Medina County Common Pleas Court on Monday, according to county Prosecutor Dean Holman:

• Tywanna Allison, 20, South Huntington Street, Medina, was sentenced to one year of community control sanctions on one count of aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony.
• Dirk Dowdley, 24, Olympia Road, Cleveland, was sentenced to one year in prison on one count of aggravated assault, a fourth-degree felony.
• Andrew Howard, 55, East 102nd Street, Cleveland, was sentenced to two years of community control sanctions on one count of receiving stolen property, a fifth-degree felony.
• Dawn Lear, 37, Bryon Road, Brunswick, was sentenced to five years of community control sanctions on one count of receiving stolen property (check) and one count of aggravated possession of drugs, fifth-degree felonies. She also was ordered to pay $1,508.37 in restitution.
• Robert Shane, 20, Main Street, Wadsworth, was sentenced to five years of community control sanctions on one count of burglary, a third-degree felony. He also was ordered to pay $115 in restitution.
• Neil Corrigan, 24, Hinckley Hills Boulevard, Hinckley, pleaded not guilty to two counts of receiving stolen property (checks), fifth-degree felonies. A jury trial is scheduled for March 18.
• Jose Cotto, 34, California, pleaded not guilty to one count of possession of heroin, a first-degree felony. A jury trial is scheduled for Feb. 19.
• Stephen Hicks, 47, Elyria Street, Lodi, pleaded guilty to one count of trafficking in marijuana within the vicinity of a juvenile and one count of aggravated trafficking in drugs, fourth-degree felonies, and one count of trafficking in marijuana, a fifth-degree felony. Sentencing is scheduled for Feb. 25.
• Timothy Jason, 35, Medina Street, Rittman, pleaded not guilty to one count of receiving stolen property, a fifth-degree felony. A jury trial is scheduled for April 1.
• Nicholas Ortman, 27, Alpha Avenue, Akron, pleaded not guilty to one count of possession of heroin, a fifth-degree felony. A jury trial is scheduled for April 1.
• Emily Price, 21, Chestnut Street, Wadsworth, pleaded guilty to one count of theft, a fifth-degree felony. Sentencing is scheduled for Feb. 25.
• Jason Young, 32, Huntington Drive, Northfield, pleaded not guilty to one count of identity theft, a fifth-degree felony. A jury trial is scheduled for April 22.
