Larry C. Neptune, 73, of Lodi, passed away Thursday, January 17, 2013, at his home, surrounded by family and the best neighbors anyone could have. He was born in Spencer on September 15, 1939 to Cecil and Vesta Neptune, who preceded him in death. He grew up in the Spencer area and later moved to Lodi.

Larry was a welder, pipefitter, and had a plumbing shop in Lodi for a few years. He loved farming and horses. Larry’s best friend and beloved dog, Azul, will be lost without him.

Surviving are sons, Rick Neptune of Burbank, Randy Neptune of Penfield; grandchildren, Joshua Neptune, Jessica Neptune, Jacob Neptune, and Michelle Bunyak; great grandson, Trevor Bunyak; sisters-in-law, Anna Mae Neptune and Betty Neptune; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patricia (Neumeyer); brothers, Harold, Ralph, and Dale Neptune; and sister-in-law, Faye Neptune.

There will be no calling hours. Graveside service will be held Monday, January 21, 2013, 11A.M., at Spencer Cemetery. Reverend Reid Firestone will officiate.

Parker & Son Funeral Home in Lodi, is handling arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Crossroads Hospice, 3743 Boettler Oaks Dr., Suite E, Green, OH 44685.
