Mary Elizabeth Triplett

Mary Elizabeth (Loving) Triplett, 89, of Lodi, went home to be with her savior on Wednesday, January 16, 2013, surrounded by her beloved family. She was born February 23, 1923 in Enoch, West Virginia to Norman and Hettie (Hamrick) Loving. Mary and her husband, Roscoe raised their family in Clay County, West Virginia and resided there for many years.

Mary was a loving mother and grandmother. She took much joy and pride in each and every member of her family, and was and active member of Truth Baptist Church in West Salem for many years. She was a bright, fun loving person, and an inspiration to each individual that was lucky enough to have crossed her path. She will be truly missed by all.

She is survived in life by her children, Darrell (Ellen) Triplett of Lodi, Sandy (Leonard) Canfield of Canal Fulton, David Triplett of West Salem, Joyce (Darrell) Mullins of Lodi, Mike Triplett of Glenville, West Virginia, Rodney Triplett of Mannington, West Virginia; grandchildren, Pamela (Mark) Cantrell, Kimberly (Bob) Barone, Candi Erbland, Tim Stockwell, Darren (Wanda) Mullins, Donna (Todd) Underwood, Matthew Triplett, Monica (Mike) Haley, Jessica (Steve) Shuff, Todd (Stephanie) Triplett, and Sara Triplett; 17 great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren. Also surviving are siblings, Buehla Foster and Eugene Loving.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roscoe; and siblings, Sam, Arnold, Chessie, Lola and Radie.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 19, 2013, from 4 to 7 P.M., at the Parker & Son Funeral Home, 210 Medina St., Lodi. Funeral service will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home in Clay, West Virginia, on Monday, January 21, 2013 at 1 P.M., with visitation two hours prior to the service (11 A.M. to 1 P.M.) Pastor John Pruitt will officiate. Mary will be laid to rest in Triplett Cemetery, near Clay, West Virginia, beside her husband Roscoe.
