Paul proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy in WWII. He retired in 1988 after 37 years with LTV/Republic Steel. He enjoyed gardening and building prize-winning model ships. Paul also loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving children, Dennis (Loretta) Maille of Medina, Lynn (Mario) Novelli of Russell Township and Sharon (Craig) Hrubey of Brunswick Hills; treasured grandchildren, Alan (Rebecca), Adam (Jessica), Kevin (fiancé Sydney Sustarsic), Angela and Brent; cherished great-grandchild, Grayson; brother, Kenneth Davern of Hackettstown, New Jersey; sister, Madlyn Cress of Ashtabula; sisters-in-law, Wanda Moses, Marge Maille and Cora Maille.
Paul was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dolores (nee Blaha); and brothers, John, Louis, Charles and James. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 24, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. at Waite and Son Funeral Home, 3300 Center Rd., Brunswick. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, January 25, 2013 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 929 Pearl Rd., Brunswick, OH 44212, with Father Bob Stec officiating. Mourners are invited to luncheon immediately following the funeral Mass. Private burial will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery in Brook Park.
