Blue Devils win 12 bowling matches in row

BRUNSWICK — The Brunswick boys bowling team wrapped up its home season with its 12th straight win at Dick Hoover Lanes.

The Blue Devils bested Brush 2,644-2,447 in Northeast Ohio Conference action behind a team-leading 451 series by Eric Bator. The sophomore had games of 215-236.

Justin Vetrovsky had a fine outing with a 444 series (219-225) for Brunswick, which is 14-1.

The Brunswick girls rolled away with a 1,733-1,488 victory.

Dani Mitchell paced the Blue Devils (7-6) with a 293 series (148-145), while Sierra Schleich added a 261 (148-113).

Brunswick’s junior varsity boys team completed the sweep with a 2,212-862 win. Spencer Brodie led the way with a 402 series (201, 201).
