Thursday, Jan. 24
1:46 p.m. — 200 block Grandview Ave., an officer responded to a residence about a slashed tire.
Friday, Jan. 25
9:15 a.m. — 100 block Baird Ave., an officer responded to a reported burglary. Thieves entered a residence while the owners were away and took several household items.
Saturday, Jan. 26
3:09 a.m. — 222 E. Smokerise Drive, police were dispatched to Walmart for a theft in progress. David C. Smith, 33, of Copley, was arrested on the charge of theft and transported to Medina County Jail.
1:34 p.m. — 625 Broad St., an officer responded to Wadsworth High School regarding a theft of money from a visiting student.
10:11 p.m. — 222 E. Smokerise Drive, a manager at Walmart reported a theft of $1,400 of unspecified merchandise from the store. An investigation is ongoing.
Monday, Jan. 28
11:02 a.m. — 168 Euclid St., an apartment landlord reported a tenant moved out overnight and took several appliances belonging to the owner. Charges are pending.

Tuesday, Jan. 22
6:06 p.m. — 400 block Bank St., an officer pulled over a motorist for driving erratically. Jaque Fagan, 41, of Cleveland, was arrested on charges of operating a vehicle while impaired and drug abuse. Additional charges are pending.
Thursday, Jan. 24
6:30 p.m. — Howe St., an officer responded to a residence regarding a theft report. A Wii system was stolen. An acquaintance is suspected and an investigation is ongoing.
Monday, Jan. 28
1:30 p.m. — S. Market St, , an officer was dispatched to a home regarding trash piled around the garage. A complaint was sent to the village zoning inspector.
