Tuesday, Jan. 29
1:21 a.m. — Julia L. Telmanik, 22, of 1023 Oak St., Medina, was served with a warrant from Seville charging her with failure to appear. She also was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
Wednesday, Jan. 30
12:30 p.m. — Richard J. Hrouda, 20, of 4471 Sleepy Hollow Road, Brunswick, was charged with violation of a protection order.
1:30 p.m. — Kari A. Kowal, 26, of 1896 Coventry Drive, Brunswick, was served with warrants charging him with failure to appear and obstructing official business.
9:26 p.m. — Michael B. Linnert, 19, of 3252 Pinecrest Drive, Brunswick was charged with a probation violation.
11:30 p.m. — John A. Colston, 20, of 4591 Hickory Ridge Ave., Brunswick, was served with a warrant charging him with failure to appear.
Saturday, Feb. 2
1:12 a.m. — Holly M. Jozwiak, 31, of 4518 Redfern Road, Parma, was served with a warrant charging her with failure to appear.
2:35 a.m. — Casey W. Smith, 23, 4108 Blossom Court, Medina, was charged with operating a vehicle while impaired and a marked lane violation. Smith had a blood-alcohol content of 0.214, more than twice the legal limit of 0.08.
11:27 p.m. — Barth A. Magistro, 54, of 4144 Angela Lane, Brunswick, was charged with making domestic violence threats and obstructing official business.
Sunday, Feb. 3
11:36 p.m. — A man accused of attempting to rob a Brunswick convenience store was arrested Saturday evening.
Police reports said Steven E. Nicholas, 28, of 1442 Princeton Drive, Brunswick, entered the Circle K, 521 Pearl Road, wearing a ski mask and demanded money from the clerk.
Nick Solar, spokesman for Brunswick police, said Nicholas did not brandish a gun but did threaten to shoot the clerk.
The clerk refused to hand over the money and the man fled the store on foot. Solar said Nicholas was arrested by Medina police officers who were in Brunswick as part of an OVI enforcement team. A customer who was leaving the store when Nicholas entered alerted the officers to the robbery.
Nicholas is charged with robbery, a second-degree felony. He is set to appear in Medina Municipal Court on Monday. The case is expected to be sent to a county grand jury.
1:05 a.m. — Derek J. Gembus, 26, of 3516 Sturbridge Lane, Brunswick, was charged with persistent disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
3:12 a.m. — Jonathan P. Heredos, 28, of 3057 Ethan Court, Brunswick, was charged with operating a vehicle while impaired, a marked lane violation and obstructing official business.
Monday, Feb. 4
12:56 a.m. — Michael M. Spinelli, 27, of 1166 Layfayette Road, Apt. G32, was served with a warrant charging him with failure to appear.

Hinckley police

Thursday, Jan. 31
9:41 p.m. — Stacie D. Shomon, 27, of 847 Aldon Drive, Hinckley, was charged with operating a vehicle while impaired and driving under suspension. Shomon’s license was suspended in October following an OVI charge that is pending in Medina Municipal Court.
