Bill Sharpnak

Bill Sharpnack “Stompin Shorty”, 85, died Friday, February 8, 2013. He was born February 10, 1927, to the late Stiers and Mildred Sharpnack.

Formerly of Seville, retiring in Tavares, Florida, he moved back to Ohio to be closer to his family. He was a Seabee in the U.S. Navy, coal miner, construction worker and long distance truck driver for CF, retiring in 1986, after 22 years of service. He was a member of the 3 Million Mile Safe Driving Club, which we were all very proud of.

He was preceded in death by his spouse, Bunny in 2007;

He is survived by his daughter, Sharon (Skip) Palmieri; granddaughter, Jenny; and great granddaughters, Julia, Allysa and Sydney.

Committal service will take place Thursday, February 14, 2013, 9:30 A.M., at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, in Rittman.
