Medina County Court Log for Feb. 15

The following people appeared in Medina County Common Pleas Court on Thursday, according to county Prosecutor Dean Holman:

• Dylan Masanz, 20, of Park Court in Wadsworth, was sentenced to three years of community control sanctions on one count of trafficking in drugs within the vicinity of a school or juvenile, a third-degree felony, and one count of aggravated trafficking in drugs, a fourth-degree felony.

• Michael Pavelko, 23, of Remsen Road in Medina, was sentenced to one year in prison on one count of attempted tampering with evidence, a fourth-degree felony; one count of theft of a dangerous drug, a fourth-degree felony; and two counts of possession of heroin, fifth-degree felonies.

• Kathy Saunders, 30, of Miner Drive in Medina, was sentenced to three years of community control sanctions on one count of theft, a fifth-degree felony. She also was ordered to pay $2,348 in restitution.

• Nicole Smith, 26, of Elyria Street in Lodi, was sentenced to three years of community control sanctions on one count of domestic violence, a fourth-degree felony.

• Tracy Sullivan, 44, of Lafayette Road in Lodi, was sentenced to three years of community control sanctions on one count of trafficking in cocaine and one count of possession of cocaine, third-degree felonies.

• Nikolas Callihan, 23, of East Walnut Street in Wadsworth, pleaded not guilty to one count of trafficking in marijuana, a second-degree felony, and one count of trafficking in marijuana within the vicinity of a juvenile, a third-degree felony. A jury trial is scheduled for April 15.

• Michael Thomas, 32, of South Elmwood Street in Medina, pleaded not guilty to one count of domestic violence, a fourth-degree felony. A jury trial is scheduled for April 15.

• Hector Zepeda, 46, of Hilliard, pleaded not guilty to two counts of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, fourth-degree felonies. A jury trial is scheduled for April 8.
