Agnes Frances Walter

Agnes Frances Walter, 64, of Spencer, passed away Friday, February 22, 2013, at Burbank Parke. She was born in Cleveland, November 23, 1948, to Leonard and Frances (Kimmel) Davis and was a graduate of West High School in Cleveland. In 1971, she moved to Spencer.

She was EMS Captain with the Spencer Fire & Rescue Squad and had been police dispatcher for the Spencer Police Dept. and retired from the Medina County Sheriff Dept., as dispatcher.

She was a member of Jesus Our Savior Catholic Church in Spencer. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, and also watching wildlife from her window.

Surviving are her children, Alisa (Bruce) Stevanus of Spencer, Adam Walter of Doylestown; three grandchildren, Hannah and Kyle Stevanus and Aubrey Walter; sisters, Lenore Dolly (husband Ron) McCaslin of Hinckley; former husband, Chuck Walter of Brunswick; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 27, 2013, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M., at the Parker & Son Funeral Home, 202 East Main St., Spencer. Funeral Mass will be Thursday, February 28, 2013, 11 A.M., at Our Lady Help of Christians Parish, 9608 Norwalk Rd., Litchfield. Father Ron Bryda will be the Celebrant. Burial will be in Spencer Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Medina County, 5075 Windfall Rd., Medina, OH 44256.
