Clifton Floyd Lewis

Clifton Floyd Lewis, 69, of Brunswick, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2013. He was born June 5, 1943, to the late Floyd and Kate (nee Holt) Lewis in Centerville, Tennessee.

Clifton proudly served his country during the Korean War in the U.S. Army. He retired after working for 42 years as an operations manager for Air BP at Cleveland Hopkins Airport. Clifton was a long time member of the Brunswick VFW Post 9520, the American Legion Post 0091 and the Brunswick Eagles Aerie 3505. He was an old car enthusiast, enjoyed riding Harleys, and loved to go cat fishing and to grill out.

Clifton is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Loreita (nee Watkins); loving daughter, Angela (Kenneth) Keys; treasured grandchildren, Amanda, Alyshia and Kenny Keys; he was a loving uncle to several nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, Bill Watkins and sister-in-law, Susan Weaver.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Ray Bishop.

Family will receive friends Wednesday, March 6, 2013 from 4 to 8 P.M. at Waite and Son Funeral Home, 3300 Center Road, Brunswick. Service will be held Thursday, March 7, 2013 at 11 A.M. in the funeral home. Military burial will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.
