Arline K. Keller, 96, of Berea, passed away Friday, March 1, 2013. Arline was born December 20, 1916 in Valley City, to the late John and Gertrude Mellert. She grew up in Medina County and has lived in Berea for the past 69 years.
Arline was a homemaker and a member of the Pleasant Hills United Methodist Church, Middleburg Heights for many years.
She survived by her son, Charles Keller, Sr. of Grafton; daughter, Nancy (James) Gillahan of Middleburg Heights; grandchildren, Charles Keller, Jr. (Chip), Michael (Catherine) Gillahan and Molly Gillahan; great grandchildren, Avery and Margaret Gillahan; and her sister, Hazel Grausam of Middleburg Heights.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norris Keller in 2007; daughter-in-law, Kathleen Keller in 2013 and her brother-in-law, William Grausam.
Celebration of Life Service will be held 11 A.M., Saturday, March 9, 2013 at Pleasant Hills United Methodist Church, 13200 Bagley Road, Middleburg Heights. Rev. Sarah Macdonald will officiate. Arline’s family invites family and friends to join them in fellowship and a luncheon following the service at the church. Following Arline’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Burial will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, The family suggests memorials may be made to a charity of donor’s choice.
