Johanna Hobrath, 75, of Brunswick, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2013 in Middleburg Heights. She was born March 5, 1938 in Czechoslovakia.
Johanna enjoyed being a Christian writer for Halo Ministries.
She was the beloved wife of 50 years to Adam Hobrath; devoted mother of Timothy (Judith) Hobrath and Gary (Marta) Hobrath; loving grandmother of Benjamin and Rachel; dear sister of Edward (Dorothy) Stang, Paul (Gail) Stang, Frieda (Viktor) Berger and George (Betty) Stang; dear sister-in-law to Ernestine (Alfred) Ziefle, Henry (Irene) Hobrath, Frank (Heidi) Hobrath; and a wonderful aunt and cousin to many.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Anna (nee Binder) Stang; brother, Emil (Ann) Stang; and sister, Erika Stang.
Family will receive friends Monday, March 11, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. at the Waite & Son Funeral Homes, Brunswick Chapel, 3300 Center Road, Brunswick. Funeral service will be Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at 11 A.M. in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Hope Memorial Gardens in Hinckley.
