George proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was an active member of the Brook Park-Berea VFW Post 6676 and American Legion Post 610. George was retired from Ford after 34 years as a milwright. He enjoyed spending his time working on his model trains, planes and cars. George also enjoyed gardening, taking care of the fish in his aquarium, traveling to Seneca with his fiancee, Nancy, and taking vacations with his brothers.
He is survived by his beloved daughters, Teri (Kevin) SirLouis and Michele (David) Dickinson; son, Steven (Michelle); treasured grandchildren, Brandon, Chelstine and Shane SirLouis, Sarah and Anna Masica and David, Jr., Dylan and Maxx Dickinson; life-partner and fiancee, Nancy Montali; brothers, Mike (Donna), William (Tudy) and Dan (Ellen) Masica; uncle, cousin and friend to many.
George is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patricia; and son, Richard.
The family will receive friends Thursday, March 21, 2013, from 4 until 8 P.M., at Waite and Son Funeral Home, 3300 Center Rd., Brunswick 44212. A memorial service will be held Friday, March 22, 2013, 10 A.M., at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.
