11:09 a.m. — 900 block Broad St., a resident reported stolen DVDs worth $80.
3:51 p.m. — 100 block Main St., a girl was arrested on a domestic violence charge and taken to the Medina County Juvenile Detention Facility.
5:14 p.m. — Target, 1183 Williams Reserve Blvd., a woman escaped after attempting to steal $3,280.78 worth of merchandise. She wasn’t apprehended but the merchandise was recovered and returned to the store.
Sunday, March 24
4:51 p.m. — Walmart, 222 E. Stonerise Drive, Brian R. McKee, 33, 106 E. Main St., Spencer, arrested on a theft charge.
Monday, March 25
9:22 p.m. — 500 block Main St., report of $150 stolen from a vehicle.
Tuesday, March 26
9:30 p.m. — 100 block E. Bergey St., Andrea Griffitts, 32, of Wadsworth, charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
Tuesday, March 19
11:00 p.m. — 740 block Bank St., $75 worth of property reported stolen from trucks. The rear door to a nearby building also kicked in but nothing taken.
Thursday, March 21
3:56 p.m. — N. Redfield St., a resident reported a fraudulent account opened using his name and Social Security number and $777 charged.
Saturday, March 23
6 a.m. — 17-year-old boy was charged with misuse of a credit card and transported to the Medina County Juvenile Detention Center.
5:05 p.m. — an officer was dispatched to Woodlawn Cemetery, 405 Medina St., after someone reported a relative’s gravestone was moved. Other grave markers also were tampered with.
11:14 p.m. — Dwight Romesberg, 56, 113 S. Broadway, Lodi, arrested and charged with aggravated menacing. He was taken to the Medina County Jail. Officers responded to S. Broadway about a report of a man causing a disturbance. The complainant told police her neighbor went outside his apartment and started a chainsaw while yelling at her. Police said the man, Romesberg, went into his own apartment, with the running chainsaw, and yelled, “I’m coming for you.”
Sunday, March 24
2:48 p.m. — Nathanial Saxer, 21, 9339 Shaw Road, Spencer, charged with drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia, and was transported to the Medina County Jail. An officer was dispatched to Lisa Drive about a suspicious person sitting inside a vehicle. The officer located the car and upon approaching it smelled an odor of burnt marijuana. Police said Saxer, the driver of the car, had drug paraphernalia and suspected marijuana on him.
