Police search home, find drugs, arrest woman on drug charges

MEDINA — County Drug Task Force agents searched a home in Medina, arrested a woman and seized a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Agents served a search warrant at 416 Bronson St. on Friday afternoon.

Lara Hudson, 23, was arrested on a warrant out of Lorain County charging her with possession of a dangerous drug. She has been booked into the Lorain County Jail.

Gary Hubbard, task force director, said the homeowner, a man, will likely be charged with misdemeanors as a result of the search.

The case will be forwarded to the Medina city prosecutor.

Hubbard said a Medina police investigation prompted the search. Medina police officers and a Wadsworth Police K-9 handler helped with the search.

“We were hoping to find a lot more, but we didn’t,” he said.
