Frank C. Schultz, 73, of Valley City, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2013. He was born June 29, 1939, in Cleveland, to the late Lawrence C. Schultz and Viola (Mulieri) Dautel. Frank was the CEO and owner of Diesel Filtration Specialists, Inc. and previously owned and operated a Curtis Mathis. He served his country in the U.S.Marine Corp, as a Lance Corporal from 1958-1964. Frank enjoyed playing cards, fishing and vintage cars. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He was the beloved husband of Karen Lou (Castle) to whom he was married 22 years; loving father of John (Amy) Schultz, Lance (Dalia) Schultz, Dawn (James) Falandes, Heather (Michael) Iacofano, Tiffany (Robert) Ransom and Timothy (Liz) Ransom; dear grandfather of Lance Jr., Carmen and Cameron Schultz, Tammy (Ken) Michaels, Tina Schultz, Willie Sos, Damien, Carla, Olivia Falandes, Matthew Ransom and Mick and Rachel Iacofano; loving great-grandfather of Lillian Schultz; dear uncle of Gisele (Dante) DePiero; and also survived by his devoted dog, Schnoodles.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Rosemary.
Services will be held Saturday, April 6, 2013, 11 A.M., at the Waite & Son Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina. Reverend Thomas Henderson will officiate. Military burial will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, at a later date. Family will receive friends Friday, April 5, 2013, from 5 until 8 P.M., at the funeral home.
