WADSWORTH TWP. — A 52-year-old Lodi woman was seriously injured in a three-vehicle, chain-reaction crash Wednesday morning on Interstate 76.
Judy M. Wagner was driving a 2002 Ford Explorer east at about 7:50 a.m. when her vehicle struck the rear bumper of a 2004 Chrysler Pacifica, just east of state Route 94, according to the Medina post of the Ohio Highway Patrol.
The impact sent Wagner’s vehicle spinning into the path of an eastbound tractor-trailer, which crashed into the back of her sport utility vehicle.
Wagner was taken Wadsworth EMS to Akron General Hospital, where she was listed in serious condition Wednesday evening.
The drivers of the Pacifica, Crystal J. Harmon, 42, of Litchfield Township, and the tractor-trailer, Ceaser Barone, 55, of Bloomsburg, Pa., were not seriously injured, according to the patrol.
The eastbound lanes of I-76 was closed for about a half-hour after the crash.
