Kaidon Andrew Stamper, 9, of Creston, went peacefully to be with the Angels, while in the arms of his mother on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at his home.
Kaidon was born October 24, 2003 in Akron and loved watching cartoons, being read to, and hearing his grandpas sing “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star”. He will be greatly missed and forever loved.
Surviving are his parents, Bethany Stamper and Peter Matzelle of Creston; his father, Mark Lewis of West Salem; half brothers, Jak and Oliver Lewis of West Salem; grandparents, Lowell and Lisa Stamper of Creston, Mark and Patty Lewis of Westfield Center, Tricia and Dave Mayfield of Seville, and Martha and Phil Matzelle of Chippewa Lake; great grandparents, Ralph and Patsy Simms of Creston, Everett and Sarah Stamper of Olive Hill, Kentucky, and Ike and Cora Lewis of Wooster; great great grandfather, Ralph Sims, Sr. of Canal Fulton; uncle, Josh (Beverly Kauffman) Stamper of Rittman; aunt, Rose Matzelle of Chippewa Lake; his God mother, Kathy Konan of Canal Fulton; and a host of family and friends.
His great grandmother, Naomi Stamper; and great great grandfather, Dow George, died previously.
A celebration of Kaidon’s life will be 11 A.M., Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Murray Funeral Home, Creston, with Richard Buesch officiating. Friends may call Friday, April 26, 2013, from 4 to 8 P.M., in the funeral home. Burial will be in Creston Maple Mound Cemetery. The family request that those attending wear colorful clothing.
