BEREA – The Browns have yet to make a selection on the third day of the NFL Draft.
Instead, they traded their fourth- and fifth-round picks for third- and fourth-round choices in 2014.
Cleveland sent pick No. 111 to Pittsburgh, then No. 139 to Indianapolis.
The Browns’ next selection is scheduled for No. 175. They’ve taken only two players thus far – outside linebacker Barkevious Mingo at No. 6 and cornerback Leon McFadden at No. 68.
Owner Jimmy Haslam told sponsors Thursday the Browns will need another free-agent period and draft to finish building the team. The focus on 2014 affirms that approach.
