George F. Lemmerman Jr.

George F. Lemmerman Jr. went peacefully into the arms of Our Lord on Sunday, April 28, 2013 with his family by his side. Born on February 3, 1938 in Cleveland, Ohio to George and Rose (nee Reichlin) Lemmerman Sr. (both deceased).

He married his true love Joanne C. (nee Horak) on January 10, 1959 sharing 54 happily married years together. They have five wonderful and loving children, Justine Berg, George (Linda), Jillene (Jolie), Gerald (Patrizia), Gene (Kimberly); seven beautiful and cherished grandchildren, Lindsey (Jeff) Fade, Chad, Brittany, Brandon, Gabriella, Angelo and Katelynd; also great grandchild, Lorelei; and step grandfather to Nathan and Brian.

George was the loving brother of four sisters, Mary Zeno SND (deceased), Lois (Bill) Fogarty, Joan (Bob) Bosak, Roseann (Jerry) Augustine; and brother in law to Doris (James deceased) Blair; also uncle to many nieces and nephews.

George was a hardworking, loving family man who enjoyed camping and family nights in the winter playing Monopoly. He started the Brunswick Scout-O-Ree and was a Cub Scout Leader of Pack 3516 and 3407. He was a District Commissioner for Chippewa Cub Scouts for 12 years, serving the Scouts for 25 years. George was coordinator and Eucharistic Minister at Our Lady Help of Christians Parish in Seville. He also enjoyed organizing Bingo at St. Collete Parish for seven years. George was proud to serve in the National Guard and was a member of The Fraternal Order of Eagles, Medina Post 2224. He was employed as a Tool and Die Salesman for many years. He retired as a courier with Ameripath, at the age of 74. George touched so many lives by always opening his home and heart to all, and will be greatly missed.

Visitation with family will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 from 2 to 4 P.M. and 7 to 9 P.M. at Carlson Funeral Home, 3477 Medina Road (corner of Rt. 18 and River Styx Rd.) Medina. Prayer Service at 8 P.M. The family also invites friends to a Memorial Service on Friday, May 3, 2013 at 11 A.M. at Our Lady Help of Christians Parish, 60 High St. Seville, Ohio 44273. Pastor Rev.
