Florence J. Honeycutt (nee Pawlus), 88, of Quaker City, passed away at her daughters’ home surrounded by her family. She was born to Daniel and Mary (nee Wiesniski) Pawlus on September 18, 1924 in Cleveland, Ohio.
She enjoyed camping, bingo and game shows. She most loved being a homemaker and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She will be dearly missed by her loving husband, Albert; and their children, James Honeycutt of Cleveland, Mary Ann (David) Kriak of Brunswick, Patricia (George) Jay of Litchfield, daughter in law, Kathy Honeycutt of Medina; siblings, Walter (Barbara deceased) Pawlus of Texas, Frank (Delores deceased) Pawlus of Mantua, Carol (John) Patera of Perrysburg, John (Karen) Pawlus of Valley City, Edward (Barbara) Pawlus of North Olmstead, Rose (Joe) Piazza of Cleveland, Dorothy (John deceased) Rice of Key West, Florida, Helen (Ed) Mancuso of San Bernardino, California, and Theresa Gill of Brunswick; grandchildren, Kim (James) Colbert, Lorrie Jay, Christine Poroch, Daniel (Gretchen) Honeycutt, Julie (Corey) Rader, Jody (Allison) Kriak, Jennifer (John) Reale, Carrie (David) Hammond, Jenny (Ted) Coffman, Harold (Shainee) Rice, Misty Robinson, Melinda Jay and Martin (Darcie) Jay; 27 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her son, Daniel Honeycutt; and her daughter and son in law, Josephine (Harold) Rice; a brother and four sisters.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Sunday, May 19, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.m. at Carlson Funeral Home, 1642 Pearl Road (1/2 mile south of Rt. 303) Brunswick, Ohio. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, May 20, 2013 at Our Lady Help of Christian Parish, 9608 Norwalk Road, Litchfield, Ohio at 11 A.M. with the celebrant Rev. Ronald Byrda officiating, followed by interment at Litchfield Cemetery. (Please Meet at The Church For Mass).
