The images of Corben Simpson will live far beyond his short lifetime. Corben enjoyed nature, off-roading bikes, four wheelers, playing with his dog, Serena, and skimboarding at the beach. Always up for new adventures, Corben was full of life and had everything to live for. Corben James Cos Simpson, 13, passed away Friday evening May 17, 2013. Corben attended Wadsworth Middle School.
He was the son of Heather and Jason Simpson; and brother of Mykala Simpson, 15. In addition to his mother, father and sister, Corben is also survived by his great grandmother, Betty Gillis; grandparents, Richard Simpson and Cathy Shield, Shari Simpson, and Susan Easterday; as well as a large amazing extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
In this difficult time we take comfort to know that Corben now has his angel wings and will join his grandfather, David Hicks and great grandfather, Eugene (Bud) Gillis for eternal living.
In honor of Corben’s aspirations to join the military, the family is asking friends of Corben to wear camouflage during the visitation services. A celebration of Corben’s life viewing service will be held from 4 until 8 P.M., Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at the Waite & Son Funeral Home, Medina Chapel, 765 N. Court St. At the family’s request a private funeral service will be held the following day.
